If you wish to advertise your used equipment to sell, we offer Two options:

First Option: Free adverts.
No Charge. Gratis. The link to this page will be forwarded to anyone asking about second hand gear, only after we have exhausted any possibility of selling new equipment to the person (which is essentially our main business).
We advertise your own contact details. Potential buyers may contact you directly to negotitiate a deal.
We ask for no commission on the sale, this is a completely free service for you.
Email your advert, with the full wording, pictures, pricing and your contact details, and ask to place this on the Free Ads page.

Option Two: Commercial classified ads.
This is a premium service designed to reach the widest possible market of potential customers for your used equipment.
This page advertising your equipment is freely available to anyone to browse, with links to it from a wide variety of locations.
We shall advertise this page extensively to attract potential buyers of used equipment for your benefit.
Cost to you: There are Two charges:
An initial charge of 1.5% of the advertised price, payable when we list your gear here.
A further 8.5 % of the eventual selling price, payable when the equipment is sold.
This totals approximately 10% commission (or less) of the advertised price, depending on the eventual selling price after your negotiations with the buyer.
Additional services included:
We can assist you in drafting of your advert to attract buyers.
We can offer an Escrow Service to protect both the seller and the buyer if the goods are shipped from the seller to the buyer. Inquire about details.
How the service works: To protect ourselves from under-the-counter sales to buyers we introduce to you, we list a Reference Number with each advert (not your contact details). When a potential buyer contacts us about your equipment, we record the contact, then forward their contact details to you, as well as your contact details to them. This is the only way we can keep track of which sales resulted from our classified adverts.
If interested in this service, email a detailed description of your gear for sale, with any extra info (such as age, condition, extras, etc), your asking price, full contact details and some pictures of the equipment to keith@xplorer.co.za.
